In 1967 countries that included in UNO signed “The agreement about cosmos”. It proclaimed that no one country can possess the Moon and other planets of the Solar system. But there was no word about natural persons. The American Dennis Hope took advantage of this juridical loop-hole. Relying on this land legislation of the USA accordingly any person can registers a possession on himself, if someone didn’t do it before and if someone will not raise objections, he sent an inquiry to government of USA, to Council of Ministers USSR and to the UNO. So, there were no objections because the letters just were ignored.

Because of it Dennis Hope in 1980 declared himself the individual owner of the Moon and all the planet of the Solar system (except the Earth). And then on the official grounds he opened the embassy of the Moon and began to sale plots of the Moon surface. The trade was winnowed with standard parcels of land in 1 acre (0.4 hectare). A buyer is given a special certificate for a plot (all as it should be – with seal and watermarks), a map with indication of the place of n plot and the moon constitution… There is a system of moneyback which works when you bye something – if you didn’t like anything in the buying you can get your money back during 30 days.

This comical venture gave amusing results. Plots with unexpected speed were sold. Someone believed in colonization of the Moon in the not very distant future, someone hoped to take through the court money from NASA for Mooncars going through their plot, someone just acquired the land (moon) certificate as a gift. One time there was even a tradition to present plots to the boss on his birthday. The first million of plots was sold in 2002 and the second in 2006. So, there are no free places on the visible side of the Moon left.

The majority of lawyers consider the trade of the moon premises to be absolutely illegal. Mostly, even landowners themselves doubt their rights for their lands”. Nevertheless the trade continues. It is stressed everywhere, that plots were acquired by world celebrities – starting with T. Cruise and ending with R. Reagan.

The moon embassies have already opened in many countries. On the site of the main moon representation addresses of the branches are pointed. If you are unsatisfied with your neighbors on the earth, try to settle down on the moon next door to Ronaldo or Travolta. News says plots to have been acquired by Hilton and Marriott hotels.

How much earned Dennis Hope? On the different data from 10 to 20 million dollars. So, what will you say?

Probably nobody likes that drinks at the cinemas, circuses, clubs and on the concerts are sold through the nose. Can of Pepsi for $5 or beer for $10 are outrageous. And you can’t take it with you – there are guardians who watch people nor to pass with their bottles. There is one problem…

Nevertheless somebody manages to take with them – there are different tricks to hide a bottle under thу cloth. And the old student method is “to load” yourself with beer to capacity before entering not tooverpay inside. ))

So, Bucks Lambert from Nevada found the radical decision of this problem – the superimposed belly-reservoir for drinks. It is something middle between a warmer and a rucksack being put on in front. Being hidden under football-jersey the secret jelly exactly copies typical beer forms. There is almostno difference. So, we can say, that folk wisdom “ the belly is not because of beer and belly is forbeer” gained its true sense.

“Bellies” in prices of $34,95 was on sale in 2005. There were written many sites, blogs and news portals about this useful invention. Look Google. General reaction – cool. On some days there were over 100.000 men on thebeerbelly.com. You can only guess about the amount of orders…

Do you imagine how a hydroelectric station works? A flow of water revolves the turbine that emerge as rotor of the huge generator – and kinetic energy changes into electric. This is eltmentary physics everybody knows it…

And now remember how many times in a day you open the tap on the kitchen/ in the bathroom or wash away in the toilet? And all this used water rushes in the sanitation. And the water of your neighbors too… Megatons of water flows for nothing. ))

Specialists of the Japanese company Toto invented the converter which works on principle of a hydroelectric station: water falls on the turbine, the turbine revolves and gives the energy to drive and distributors. The miniature converter has been already released and successfully works: on every discharging of water electric energy gets into battery and due to this battery a toilet is lightened and theoretically the rest electrical appliances may work.

The idea sounds comical, but if you think it over you will realize that there is some rational point. Japan is not full of coal, oil, gas and other traditional sources of energy… that’s why even a small free bonus is good. ))

Do you used to order pizza including delivery? The main disadvantage (if you agree with the price) – it’s expectation. Usually it is 1, 5 – 3 hours. More or less definitely it will be, if you order pizza in advance, for example, for tomorrow’s afternoon. But it’s inconvenient… But what will you say, if pizza is delivered in 20 minutes (maximum is half an hour)? And it will be a newly-baked pizza and not warmed-up in the microwave oven.

The company Super Fast Pizza from Wisconsin (USA) invented this know-how. So, how does it work? Pizza is being baked right in minivan while driving to the client. The bus is supplied with a full-fledged bakery with professional equipment, including ovens heated up to 600C. Of course, the mobility puts some restrictions on the assortment – there are baked only 7 standart appellations and only middle size. There are also restrictions on the chose of salads and drinks. But of course it us fitters on the background of this idea.

There are exit crews which are equipped with mobile connection and internet. A client makes an order with any convenient way and gets his Margarita literally in 15 minutes. Not badly, really?

Such production of business distinguishes SFS from competitors besides prices are standard - $10,99. By the by, the price of the mobile pizzeria on the Mercedes sprinter centre is $60.000, 40.000 of this amount is for the car and 20.000 is for the equipment.

An interesting project appered in web in year 2003 eMachineShop. Organizers of the project offer to interested persons to make any detail for any destination. It means any detail which is technologically available for manufacture. It may be a detail for a car, plane, tool, motorboat, furniture, engine, musical instrument and so on.

The headquarters of EMS is situated in the city Midland Park in New Jersey, USA. The first two years main clients were in limits of USA. And now they are in America, Canada and Mexico.

For whom orinted this service? Anyone who use proprietary parts. They are used by just about anyone: individuals, corporations, government and the list go on. Unnamed source tells us that some order come from US army.

Of course, founders of the site make nothing by themselves. They are middlemen between orders and producers. During few years were made contacts with many enterprises all over America. Nowadays EMS can produce details from aluminum, steel, copper, bronze, glass, tree plastic arts, rubbers, acrylic, polycarbonate, titanium and so on. That is particularly from any exciting material and their combinations.

The list of possible technological operations impresses too. Besides usual welding, turning and metalworking work there are some exotic one something like plasma arc cutting.

Main groups of orders are:
- Different inventors-doers
- Owners of rare and expensive cars. Of course, a detail lavaliere can be done only to order.
- High schools and colleges. They often order different laboratory equipment.
- Garages and workshops, especially which are specialized on tuning.
- Medical institutions. They usually order hospital equipment.
- Different divisions and workshops/ they order details for their productions.

EMS works with all clients and accepts all orders. The minimal price is $1 for the unit. Maximal is not limited. At the present moment the most expensive detail cost $5.000. There are also orders on the series of typical details and the cost of order may be with many zeros.

For registration of an order from the site you should download the program – it will help you to make a drawing of some detail by yourself. The interface of the program is simple enough and intuitively comprehensible. A necessary detail is drown in the program and the cost of the product displays immediately. The program will not display an impossible detail. In the case of a complex order there are special drawing programs used.

It is natural that advertisement in elevators had to be developed.
Here is the confirmation – article from Boston Business Journal.

Michael DiFranza president and Chief Executive Officer of Captivate Network Inc decided to place LCD displays in elevators after long observations of peoples’ behavior.

What happens when there are some people in elevator cabin? They look on the ceiling, on their shoes, on watch… They simply can’t find a particular place to look at. Many people feel uncomfortable in such situation. They surely need something catching to look at. LCD displays cry out to be placed in elevator cars to show blocks of commercials…

DiFranza shared the idea with business partner, but the partner immediately criticized the idea. “It won’t work, full stop”, - he said.

But they set one experimental display. There was music, news, and at the same time… fictitious festive occasion greetings to the stubborn partner. And suddenly he received a lot of call from dozens of people (including unfamiliar ones), who phoned to congratulate him! The effect was obvious – the idea worked.

First set display had an audience of about few hundreds of people per day. Now the company has over 8000 displays, which are set in office centers of 20 American cities. 2.5 million people watch advertisement daily! By the way, Imperial Bank of Boston gave this project $3 million line of credit.

This is almost a legend. )) It is impossible to call the described events a normal business. But it brought in an income to the author, so let’s see.

Once an ordinary Canadian guy with a female name Kyle McDonald decided to change a usual paper clip for house and even for island if he was lucky… He even supposed that it would take several stages and some time. His project was described here.

The idea came to his mind when he remembered a childish game with a purpose to get as much as possible, changing useless things for more expensive ones.

Firstly, he was offered a fish-like pen. He could exchange it for “good luck souvenir” – door handle, which looked like smiling little man. The souvenir was changed for barbecue, foe which he was offered a generator. For generator Kyle McDonald received beer barrel.

Since then Kyle decided that he could hardly realize his project only in Canada, so he wrote in his website that he was ready to travel to any point of America. The Canadian got a job at his father’s and delivered his goods to fairs all over the USA. As a result he finally changed beer barrel foe snowmobile Ski-Doo.

Then his website became widely popular, and Kyle even participated in talks how on Canadian television. There he declared that he was ready to travel anywhere except of “terribly named Yach city” (exclamation meaning “what a muck”). By the end of the show he was offered to exchange snowmobile for journey to Yach.

Kyle changed this journey for truck which, in turn, was given for 30 hours of free work in audio recording studio in Toronto. Finally a beginner singer who owed a house in Colorado phoned Kyle and offered to live in her house for free for one year in exchange for contract with audio recording studio.

But the Canadian do not want to stop at what has been accomplished. He continues to support his website and simultaneously gives interviews to many journalists. Recently he was phoned from Hollywood and offered to sell his story. Now Kyle negotiates with them.

Food of some countries (for example, Arabic or Mediterranean food) requires a lot of lemons. Maybe you also squeezed juice out of a lemon once in salad or tea. Where happens with juice? That’s right, it flies asunder, stain your clothes, and gets into your eyes. Brrrr…. But now your tortures are over – look at this wonderful invention made by company “Surlatable”!

It is a rubber (silicone) brightly lemon yellow bulb, which has opening for lemon from one side, and holes for juice’s trickling from another side. Look at the photo and you’ll understand how to use it: place cut lemon into the bulb, squeeze with all your strength, and… done! It is very simple and original invention. It is funny and strange, but there were no analogues of lemon squeezer heretofore, so the company with clear conscience sells it for $5,95… At the same time cost value of lemon squeezer is ten times lesser…

Brett Herbst graduated Brigham Young University in 1995 and became another graduating student-agronomist. He didn’t care about job because the Herbsts owed hereditary business – ranch. Everybody has ranch in Idaho…

Brett bought huge vacant field a year later and planted it with corn. Please, note that corn price was not very high at that time, and neighbors were very skeptical about his actions. They all agreed that there wouldn’t have been goon profit even if the harvest had been rich. But Brett didn’t mean to sell his corn. When in autumn the field turned into dense two meters height thicket, he personally cut passages according to his own plan. Corn plantation turned into a giant maze!

In truth, Brett found this idea in one of agricultural magazine – such labyrinth was made to entertain public in Utah few years ago, and there were 18 thousand visitors for a few weeks.

/

Everybody liked Brett’s maze, too, and people paid $2 for entrance tickets to this unusual entertainment with alacrity. All state newspapers published articles about local place of interest, and hundreds of people visited it every weekend. Other farmers, who wanted to do such thing on their fields, came to Brett with their offers. Brett Herbst registered a company and named it “The MAiZE” (the name is consonant to “maze”) and began selling deductibles. The company is now 12 years old and it has sold over 1200 deductibles. Today “The MAiZE” mazes are made in every U.S. agrarian state have been visited by millions of people. This achievement is recorded in Guinness World Records Book.

Beautiful idea attracted media attention. Many newspapers and magazines wrote about “The MAiZE” (including USA Today, Time, and National Geographic); there were broadcasts on CNN and MTV. Thanks to such strong advertisement deductibles were sold to Canada, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, England, Poland, and to many other countries…

Brett’s income makes 6% of every maze’s earnings. If to take into account 2 month of season length and hundreds of visitors per day in some mazes, income makes millions dollars annually. Farmers receive profit not only from entrance tickets, but from food and drinks, souvenir sale, etc.

internet-shop sell breathtaking accessory since summer, 2007 - cat’s wigs. It is beautiful, stylish, and your pet’s ears won’t feel cold… )) One wig costs $50 including delivery in any town of the country. If you live outside America you should pay extra $25 for airmail. Miss Jackson came in for her full share.

You may laugh at photos, but the idea brought very good profit. People spend on keeping of pets over $41 billion in the USA annually. $9.9 billion is spent on clothes and medicine. The sums are enormous, especially taking into account that only 64 countries of the world have gross national product more than $40 billion … It appears that Miss Jackson got her piece of pie. By the way, there are some links of CNN and BBC reportages on her website.

…Maybe you thought that poor pet’s miseries are over? Nothing of the sort!

Well-known British company “Angels Fancy Dress”, which has been sewing carnival costumes since 1840, decided to do something for pets, too. How do you like this season trends? Each cost only 10-20 pounds…

What will be next? Maybe high-heeled shoes, bonnets, or something lacy from Wonderbra…
